DESCRIPTION:

This full day combination tour is perfect for nature lover and explorer. To start the trip - it will go high up as we will hike one of Costa Ricas most famous attractions - the national park of the Arenal Volcano. Along the way you will learn about the landmark, the surrounding forest, the abundant wildlife and enjoy post-card settings to photograph. Be on the lookout with your private naturalist guide for monkeys, toucans, sloths, hawks, and more.

Afterwards, you will enjoy a typical Tico Style lunch to charge the batteries again before we start into our second adventure. We will hike down 471 stairs, but let us tell you this... It is so worth it. Once we get to the bottom you will be able to witness the 75 meter high La Fortuna Waterfall. The cherry on the cake - you may actually take a swim in it - so do not forget your swim suit.

 

At last, we will take you a little bid on the wild side and visit the Eco Farm Danaus. Here we will be able to observe a diversity of plants, amphibians, mammals, reptiles, insects, among others. We will also visit a  butterfly farm, a Maleku Indigenous Cultural House and a garden  of medicinal plants and orchids.
